The wonderful team of Deirdre, Patricia and Theresa picked 70 kilos (approx) of apples – which will be put to good use in exchange for a monetary donation to a charity.

Our kind annual donor, Barbara, in Rathgar, provided delicious eating apples and high quality cooking apples for charity.
The A team – Celeste, Ed, Deirdre, Mary, Patricia – did the picking and Patricia and Ed took care of the deliveries to The D.8 Food Bank and St.Michaelβs House in Santry.

Dublin 1 apples today – fabulous large cooking apples donated by Ann and picked by Catherine and Bernie.
A local Meals on Wheels were the happy recipients.
Some apples also went to feed horses! Full of gratitude to Mother Nature for great harvest abundance

Friday in Greystones yielded about 90 kilos of delicious apples.
Our kind donor, Virginie, formerly a FF volunteer, helped pick and then delivered apples to a hospice.

My fabulous helpers – Aisling, Celeste, Sue were awesome – not only with the difficult picking but finding solutions where needed and taking care of delivery.
