Charities: How it works We love partnering with local charities and community groups to ensure fresh, surplus fruit goes to those who need it most. Because we rely entirely on spontaneous donations from private gardens and non-commercial orchards, our supply is deeply connected to nature and the generosity of our community. Please review our operational guidelines below to understand how we work together.
What Fruit We Offer
Cooking Apples: This is our most common and abundant crop.
Dessert/Eating Apples: Available less frequently.
Plums & Pears: Available occasionally, depending on the season.
Quality Standard: We only distribute fresh fruit harvested directly from the tree. We do not pass fallen fruit to our charity partners.
Logistics & Delivery
Delivery-First: Our goal is always to deliver the harvested fruit directly to your charity’s doorstep.
On-Demand Coordination: Because we do not store fruit, we will coordinate drop-offs with you when local donations become available in your area.
Weather Dependability: Safety and harvest quality come first. Bad weather can cause sudden changes to our harvesting and delivery schedules.
Supply & Seasonality
Fluctuating Quantities: Supply volumes fluctuate constantly. We can never guarantee exact quantities, as we depend entirely on what donors provide at any given time.
Seasonal Availability: Fruit is only available during the natural harvesting season (typically late summer through autumn).
Distribution List: Please send us details of you charity or good cause and we will add you to our distribution list. Give a rough idea of how much fruit you could accept.
